The Work:
We recognize the face of a child and many pieces of wood that follow one another in a frenetic game of joints, mistakes, falls, attempts, and then finally, the right piece.
Like the path of family custody, we are on a path made up of different rhythms, the slowness of some moments, a new daily life where we get to know each other little by little, we help each other growing, changing, we get stuck in a shared learning of moments, face swaps.
There is also sweetness, welcome, fun, chaos, a leap into the dark and then satisfactions, the affection that becomes love, knowledge, generous union.
Mr.Thoms’ work is made up of smiles, children who get confused with the puppets, the loss of defined roles, courage, all in a creative and saving centrifuge.
The Artist:
Mr. Thoms, alias Diego della Posta, is an Italian street artist. Work with bright colors and geometric shapes to create movement. The walls chosen influence his work.
